Palm Springs (Old Hollywood Style) + Celestial Seasonings Herbal Iced Teas

Out here in Palm Springs you can’t help but love the classic Old Hollywood Style vibe. Artistically manicured palm trees and lawns abound with glamorous resorts and inviting pools. In the late afternoons, big pitchers of ice-cold water garnished with beautiful slices of local lemon, lime and grapefruit sit on beautiful tables alongside the pools here to keep sun seekers hydrated and refreshed.
As fall begins to firmly take hold during these late September / early October days, don’t forget to keep a beautiful carafe of water in your refrigerator. No matter what time of year, drinking water is helpful in flushing your body of excesses and keeping you hydrated and energized. Water-rich fruit and veggies are a great hydrating option too.
Lemon, lime and especially grapefruit and orange wedges this fall will continue to taste terrific in a pitcher of water. I also suggest flavored waters with caffeine-free, herbal tea bags from Celestial Seasonings. Ever since I was little I can remember my parents having a large pitcher of water in the refrigerator with 1-2 bags of Celestial Seasonings Lemon Zinger herbal tea. Over the years, my parents have continued to maintain this daily ritual in their refrigerator. The only thing that has changed is the pitcher (now glass) and the flavored tea bags they use from Celestial Seasonings have expanded (Raspberry Zinger, Tangerine Orange Zinger and Wild Berry Zinger now included). To this day I still love these herbal teas over a large glass of ice with a squeeze of citrus. Cheers to staying hydrated (and making it an enjoyable and tasty experience).
