Did you know that true cleansing divas are militant when it comes to properly preparing their bodies for a juice fast? Before embarking on a long juice fast (usually greater than five days), many of these beauties are often tweaking their diet for weeks, months and sometimes years. They know that without properly preparing your body for a juice fast you could end up suffering from some really uncomfortable symptoms including:
- headaches
- nausea
- lightheadedness
- feelings of sadness and frustration
- guilt (if you stray from drinking just your juice)
- binge-eating (this happened to me; ick)
