This January: A Cleanse For The Rest of Us

Over the last month, many of you beauties have written to me asking for alternatives to a juice fast to kick start a healthy diet in the New Year and lose a few extra holiday pounds. Many of you found that despite your best efforts in December on a short juice fast, you “didn’t lose any weight” and the only positive change was a “slight improvement” in your skin. A few of you also said that your juice fast left your body “completely thrown off.” All of these experiences sound pretty similar to my first juice fast; I ended up feasting on a chocolate cake.

And so, this January, I’ll share a bunch of my favorite ways to naturally and gently detox your body. Over the years, I’ve found that little everyday efforts over the course of a month are just as powerful (and way more enjoyable) than a strenuous juice fast. I hope you’ll join me.
