Here are a few of my favorite juicer recipes to kick off the new year.
Over the last few years, I’ve noticed that nothing seems to keep my skin more vibrant or my body more energized than a regular influx of fresh juice cocktails. Fresh vegetable juices are rich in vital organic minerals, salts and vitamins which (among many things) support vibrant skin and a healthy body. The rich green juices listed here are made with dark leafy green kale and are brimming with chlorophyll (a powerful detoxifier). You’ll also see a few recipes with freshly pressed cucumber juice. Cucumber juice is rich in silica which is great for your skin. Cucumbers are also a very hydrating food. And when you see beet juice, don’t be alarmed. Freshly made beet juice is great for building rich oxygenated blood which helps give you lots of yummy energy. I love beet juice best when combined with carrot juice.
In my experience, these recipes are yummy enough to share⎯and little ones love them too. My baby son, Halston, is a big fan of the Most Excellent Apple-Kale Juice!
