Freshly Pressed: More Awesome Juices On The Scene In New York

This is a picture of Hanalei Bay, located on the north shore of Kauaʻi island in Hawaii. I snapped this photo earlier this month during a trip my husband and I took to the island. It was pretty early, as I remember, just before six o’clock in the morning. It made me smile earlier this week as I was flipping through a few photos from our trip, and so I wanted to share it with you.
I also wanted to ask how everyone is coming along with their healthy living goals for January? I was in line at the gym this week with a few girls who were laughing about how they wanted to
try and eat healthier, but they weren’t into “all that healthy kale stuff.” I appreciated where they were coming from (I do eat a lot of kale but it took me a while to get there!). One girl in line ahead of me ordered her first green juice, prompted by her friends. Her order, however, was not without some serious skepticism (which I loved). I’m a huge green juice fan, but sometimes a green juice is just too “grassy” (even for someone like me who likes a good stiff green juice!). That’s why I want to share with you next week how I go about “doctoring up a green juice” occasionally.
I hope you all have a great weekend! And I hope to hear from you!

New to Green Lemonade?
Welcome to Green Lemonade! I’m Noelle. I’m so glad you’re here!
At Green Lemonade I’m on a perpetual search for recipes that are quick to make and feature supercharged ingredients. What I eat dramatically affects how I look and how I feel⎯now, more than ever⎯with the
arrival of my baby son! As a result I try to eat a lot of leafy greens and other veggies that are packed with nutrients. I also drink a lot of water to keep my skin hydrated. In non-recipe posts I like to scoop on trends that we New Yorkers are in love with like whole food cleanses (to gently restore and recharge) as well as natural beauty and lifestyle finds.
