When you get right down to it, “detox” is really just a scary word for the process of rebuilding and repairing your digestive tract. After all, a healthy digestive tract is the key to good health and can have a slimming impact on your body. Bet you wish someone would have just described it that way to you earlier right? Your knees have been knocking since that last girls get together when someone proposed a “cleanse”.
This coming summer we’re going to hear from a few of my favorite people on the best and most natural way to “detox” – or as I like to think about it – the best way to get your body to return to operating at its most optimal level. You’ll see the benefits of this amped up “performance” in your glowing skin, greater energy and sleek physique. This process starts with incorporating a few more fresh, uncooked foods into your diet paired with a few less processed ones to keep you sane. Doesn’t sound too bad right?
