Do You Lose Weight On A Juice Fast?

Yes, you can. During a juice fast expect to lose a lot of water weight first. Then work to keep it off by eating clean. If you go back to your normal diet of white breads, sweets, sodas, and other processed foods after the juice fast, expect to regain any weight lost.
Eating a clean, consistent diet helps you actually lose weight more than a juice fast itself. Though “eating clean” has gotten a bad wrap of being boring it can actually taste quite good with the right recipes and tools. What people are missing is that anything can taste delicious, even vegetables if they are served with a delicious sauce or dressing. Natural foods don’t have to be complicated or take a lot of time to be delicious.
For best results to keep weight off after a juice fast try this
For best results, enjoy lots of raw fruits and vegetables, a healthy amount of cooked veggies, and a lesser amount of more calorie dense cooked starchy veggies (such as beans, sweet potatoes and squash) and grains and nuts. Meats, fish and dairy are compliments in this way of living rather than the main feature.
Overtime with this way of eating, your body’s sensory signals will really start to heighten. This is such a big component. While there are most certainly emotional ties to food, learning to listen to when your body is truly hungry vs emotionally hungry, will have profound weight loss results.
Its not always easy, but again be patient with yourself and the journey. And start to find ways to satisfy cravings in a more “health-friendly” way. A green smoothie is a great way to help with cravings. These green smoothies are a few of my favorites.
