Green Lemonade

This morning I woke up to a beautiful, cooler, almost fall-like morning in Montauk. The skies were a little overcast, but the light on the marina was just beautiful. I grabbed my camera and headed out to the docks to observe some of the beautiful light and a bit of the activity on the docks. It reminded me of when I was growing up and would head out sailing with friends in the very early summer mornings. In general, boatmen and women wake up early out here, usually by 5 or 5:30am. Second mugs of coffee were in hand by the time I arrived at the docks, breakfast muffins were finished and the days work washing up the boats or heading out for an early morning cruise were in full swing.
