Get Moving For A Healthier Life

You’re the last person you thought would ever “get too busy” to take good care of yourself. But alas healthy eating and exercise for you are a thing of the past these days. Anyone not feeling like herself anymore?

Newsflash! You can’t be all that you wanna be without taking care of yourself.

Feeling awesome starts with eating more natural, whole, real foods first. Getting moving is also key to shaking out those cobwebs and feeling energized. It’s about getting that Chi moving and pulsing through those bodies ladies!

Here are some fun, enjoyable ways to get moving for a healthier, more vibrant life. ‘Cause contrary to what little miss perky tells you, life shouldn’t be spent sweating INDOORS on the elliptical machine. There’s nothing like some fresh air and increased circulation to make a body feel good.

Get movin’!

Get Outside

Nothing feels better than letting your pores open, and getting a good sweat outside in the warm sun. Increasing your body’s circulation fires up your body’s detoxification work. Instead of heading indoors to the gym, go for a jog, a walk or even a bike ride. Start out slow and focus on how good the fresh air smells, and how fabulous the wind and sun feel. Your cadence and distance will increase gradually over time – and it won’t feel like a chore because the outdoor air and sunshine feel so good.

Walk, run, skip, ride your bike — just get outdoors and move your body!

Try Yoga

Start listening to YOU more. How are you feeling? If you’re dreading the gym, it’s probably time to try a new activity. Try a yoga class. Try a few different ones even. Different yoga studios, and different yoga teachers really create the yoga experience in my opinion. You may have to try a dozen different classes or teachers before you find one that you love, but trust me when you do you’ll be glad you invested the time to do so. When you find a good class, the stretching just feels so good.

Get Creative

First and foremost when it comes to activity, get creative. Don’t feel like you have to “go to the gym” everyday. Trust me, if you’re heart isn’t in it that hour spent pushing the pedals around on the elliptical machine would be better spent outside on an invigorating walk in the fresh air. Interestingly, when you start eating more health generating, enzyme filled, real foods your natural energy will start to spike and suddenly getting up and getting moving won’t feel hard at all. You’ll be inspired to do so.
