5 Diet Friendly, Detox-Diet Dinner Ideas Round Up

Some gals can pull off juicing and salads for days to get ready for bathing suit season. You (and me), however, want to start a little smaller with our detox plans. These diet friendly, detox friendly dinners are delicious, AND considerate of ingredients that are easily recognizable, utilizable and easily digestible by your body. Feeding your body these types of foods then gives your body more time to focus on its housecleaning, healing and repair work. This “housework” is good for your mood, your happiness and your figure.

Detox-Diet Dinner Ideas
  1. Gluten-Free, Low Calorie Detox Pizza: Filled with a good smattering of choice marinara sauce, just the right amount of roasted veggies and some good cheese, these “pizzas” are winners.

  2. Yellow Squash and Red Pepper Quinoa Boats: This dish features some delicious roasted yellow squash as well as some crunchy, nutty quinoa. Haven’t tried quinoa (KEEN-wah) before? You don’t know what goodness you’re missing!

  3. Crunchy Almond Butter Thai Noodles: In this modern twist on a traditional Thai noodle dish, there are some new healthy twists added while at the same time keeping the dish very traditional and flavorful.

  4. Collard Green and Portobello Pizza Wedge: This Portobello pizza wedge can be enjoyed simply with a little olive oil and cheese or it can also be dressed up like a pizza by adding a dollop of marinara sauce.
