Banana Mango Green Smoothie
Mixed greens add a different twist

This week, I wanted to finish up a box of mixed baby greens in my refrigerator so I tossed them into my morning green smoothie. I like to try and vary the greens that I use in my smoothies each week. Some weeks, I’ll invest in a less common green such as chard or collard greens, and other weeks I’ll stick to the basics (such as spinach). Green smoothies give you a chance to sneak a few more nutritious leafy green foods into your day, that you wouldn’t necessarily eat otherwise. Leafy green foods are loaded with vitamins and minerals, antioxidants and blood alkalinizers for superior health and energy. They also help support younger looking, radiant skin.
