How To Make Simple Green Lemonade
An alternative to water with lemon

You’ve been in the mood for something refreshing – but another round of water with lemon is just not going to cut it today. Today requires something a little more special…something with a twist.
Pull out your juicer and give this light and refreshing Green Lemonade a try. It’s simple and satisfying. All you need is a cucumber, some lemons and a hint of sweetness to get you started. I also added a splash of filtered water and threw in some ice too. Make an extra serving or two, fill up a pitcher and toss it in the fridge to enjoy throughout the day. So good.
Green Lemonade
Serving Size: 1
Ingredients
1 large cucumber
1 lemon, sliced in half
1/8th TEAspoon Stevia* or splash of Agave nectar
1 cup of filtered water (optional)
handful of ice
Directions
Place cucumber and lemon through your juicer. Add a touch of Stevia (use a generous 1/8th of a TEAspoon) or Agave nectar to sweeten to your taste. Add 1 cup of water to the juice and stir, for a slightly lighter juice or just enjoy as is over a glass of ice.
* Notes: Stevia is a plant native to Central and South America. It is 300 times as sweet as sugar, but has zero calories. I recommend the Nu Naturals brand of Stevia in powdered form.
