Martha Stewart’s 5 Ingredient Green Juice

Martha Stewart often introduces the benefits of green juice to her audience in her daily TV show.

For a sweet reminder of how easy it can be to enjoy more leafy greens each week, check out this video of Martha Stewart making daily green juice breakfast. She has many variations on this green juice theme – and of course that is really the fun in it.

While “green juice” may look intimidating at first, I’m convinced that once you try it, you too will be hooked. Green juices and green smoothies are not just for the health-obsessed anymore.

Green juice is easy to make, no fancy equipment required

One 16 ounce serving of green juice can easily be enjoyed a few mornings (or even every morning!) a week. And don’t worry, you don’t need to have an expensive Breville juicer (though you can get a great one for $100) or a fancy high speed blender to share in the fun.

All you truly need to make green juice is a basic blender and a strainer, an open mind and a willingness to shop a little differently. If you do not have a juicer, combine the ingredients below into a blender, and then strain out the fibrous vegetables with a strainer.
