Perk up your morning

This past weekend, I spent a few days embracing the warmth of the Caribbean. A warm sunny weekend this time of year always helps me cope with the long and cold New York winters. After a long day of travel on Monday, I woke up the next morning craving a refreshing and rejuvenating drink. This Rosemary Smoothie seemed to do the trick. Rosemary, surprisingly, is a tonic that is wonderfully awakening.
Rosemary Smoothie
Serving Size: 1 (~230 calories)
Ingredients
1 teaspoon fresh rosemary*, finely chopped (~1 medium sprig)

- Rosemary – Health beauties believe fresh rosemary contains elements which are terrific for stimulating sluggish digestion (which is often disrupted after long plane travel as well as during a deep whole foods cleanse). Fresh rosemary is also great for increasing circulation (which helps boost your energy) and improves concentration.
Directions
Combine the ingredients above into a Blendtec, or good powerful blender until smooth and creamy. Thin with water or thicken with ice if desired. Enjoy!
