Yogurt Smoothie with Mango, Basil + Vanilla
Serving Size: 1 (16 ounces), ~300 calories
Ingredients
1 cup mango, sliced
1 6 ounce container yogurt (Greek yogurt or I like this coconut milk yogurt from Turtle Mountain)

1 tablespoon honey*
1/4 teaspoon good vanilla extract
1 cup water
3-4 ice cubes
Better-for-you ingredients
Learn more about the better-for-you ingredients in this recipe:
- Basil Basil is believed to help with detoxification and improve digestion.
- Coconut milk yogurt Detox beauties tend to believe that coconut milk yogurt (compared to regular yogurt and even heavily processed soy yogurt) is easier for the body to recognize and digest allowing more energy to be spent on rejuvenation and slimming work.
Directions
Place ingredients above into a Blendtec, or good powerful blender until smooth and creamy. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
* Notes: You might consider substituting honey with ~1/8th TEAspoon of Stevia here. Stevia is a plant native to Central and South America. It is 300 times as sweet as sugar, but has zero calories. A little Stevia goes a long way. I recommend the Nu Naturals brand of Stevia in powdered form.
