For a quick snack to keep the munchies away, try this Low Sugar Green Apple Smoothie. It has the consistency of a cold pressed apple cider with all the taste, but without all the sugar. If you were going to enjoy one of these for breakfast, I would add a whole apple. Half of an apple is great for a quick afternoon pick-me-up.

- Leafy greens do an excellent job binding together with gunk and toxins in your digestive tract. You are not truly cleansing, unless you are digging up AND releasing waste from your body.
Directions
Combine the collard greens, apple, water, Stevia and ice cubes into a blender. Blend well so there are no big pieces of green leaves. Pour into a glass and enjoy! Add up to 4 additional ounces of water, and pour over a glass of ice to make a refreshing green apple iced “tea”.
Notes
Stevia is a plant native to Central and South America. It is 300 times as sweet as sugar, but has zero calories. A little Stevia goes a long way. I recommend the Nu Naturals brand of Stevia in powdered form.
