Sunflower Sprout Smoothie
Be Different.

Health beauties often refer to sprouts as the fountain of youth because they are a highly concentrated source of enzymes. Enzymes boost your bod’s rejuvenation and slimming work and help fight tired skin and wrinkles. Avoid the mistake I did, and don’t keep walking by a beautiful bouquet of sprouts at your local farmer’s market or health food store. Toss them in your salads, eat them for snack, or celebrate them in a smoothie. And then drop me a line and let me know how it’s going with these funky little goodies.
Just joining?
This month rather than feel guilty about indulging in some of my favorite “holiday” food, I’m planning to balance my favorite treats with plenty of fresh foods. I’d love it if you’d join me. Catch up here.

Ingredients

Better-for-you ingredients
Learn more about the better-for-you ingredients in this recipe:
- Sprouts Fresh, high quality sprouts are considered by detox divas to be one of the great “health secrets” of our time. Sprouts provide a steady year-round source of vitamins and a high concentration of youth supporting enzymes.
- Good quality fats (including unroasted nuts, avocados and extra virgin olive oil), enjoyed in moderation, will actually store in your body as energy and not fat which helps you lose weight in the long run.
Directions
Combine the ingredients above into a Blendtec, or good powerful blender until smooth and creamy. Thin with water or thicken with ice if desired. Enjoy!

I don't think I have ever had sunflower, but I do prefer clover over alfalfa.
