Green Lemonade readers Kate and Mandi emailed me this weekend asking for fun lunch bag suggestions. Kate is looking for a cute washable, eco-friendly bag for her daughter Gigi and Mandi is looking for something similar for herself. Mandi packs her lunch everyday for the office.
Kate, I think your daughter Gigi might adore a lunch bag from Mimi the Sardine. Mimi the Sardine bags come in an array of colorful, happy and unique prints. The bags are machine washable, made from environmentally friendly fabrics and they have a zipper closure instead of that rather temperamental, lint-gathering Velcro closure. I usually rotate between these red checkered papers and some parchment paper tied with a pretty red and white string when I’m taking my lunch on the go.
